[求譯] 請幫我潤飾或修正這篇簡單的英文翻譯
是這樣的，朋友妹妹的班上有個挺有趣的活動，
要交換同學所寫的一篇中文作文並試著把他翻譯成英文。
由於我朋友找不到懂英文的人幫忙因此拜託我，
問題是我的英文能力實在只能讀不能寫～
而且朋友妹妹交換到的這篇國文作文能力也實在不甚好，
所以我譯出來實在不是很有信心 >"<
想請版上的朋友幫我潤飾或檢查一下這篇試譯文囉！

記得小時候的某年暑假，親戚們不約而同一起回到鄉下的外婆家。有別於都市繽紛
的休閒活動，鄉下的規律生活顯得相當乏味……我和表兄弟們一起到外婆家的西瓜
田去玩，偶然發現了一顆很大的西瓜，我和表兄弟們一起合力把大西瓜搬回外婆家
。搬回家後，我們開始滾著西瓜玩，玩著玩著，不小心撞翻了門口的魚缸，魚缸破
了，魚拍動著身體，最後就死了……門外的貓和院子內池塘的鴨子，進來開始一番
「搶魚大作戰」。在牠們搶魚的同時，我們也玩瘋了，一旁的大西瓜也破了，散了
一地……
到田裡工作的大人們回來見到這樣的狀況後，不但沒有罵我們，反倒和我們一同瞎
鬧，到最後變成了一地的死魚、死鴨和西瓜汁……我們的晚餐多了香噴噴的魚和鴨
子給我們配菜。這樣一個有趣的童年，不論經過多少年，也都依然深深地烙印在每
一個人的心中。

One summer vacation I remember in my childhood, many of my relatives came
coincidentally back to my grandmother’s home. Unlike the variety of
recreation people could have in city, the ordinary lifestyle I had there in
the countryside is pretty boring…… One day, My cousins and I went into my
grandmother’s watermelon field to make some fun. We found a quite big
melon, and carried it back in concert to my grandmother’s home. After
that, we started to roll the melon on the ground for fun, and imprudently
ran the fish jar down, so the jar was broken. The fishes fall on the ground
and flopped, and all dead eventually…… Then the cats and gooses in the
pond of the yard all came in, started a “fish-robbing war.” When they were
scrambling for the fishes, we’re also going crazy, and the melon was broken
to pieces on the ground.
When the elders who had worked in field came in and saw what was just
happened, they didn’t blame us, but went into mischief with us instead.
Eventually, the circumstance was just a chaos, the dead fishes and dead
gooses lay down on the ground, here and there, and the melon juice
flowed…… So, there were savory fishes and gooses which was added to our
dinner. It was such a amusing childhood memory. No matter what years passed,
the memory is still deeply impressive in everyone’s mind.
