有的時候加逗號會讓文意更清楚
I saw the dog with his teeth bared.
這句很清楚可以知道with後面是修飾dog
I saw the dog with the telescope.
這句照上面的解法就變成是狗帶著望遠鏡??
不過一般來說照常識上會猜想是透過望遠鏡看到狗,
with在這種情況下語意會有點模糊
I saw the man with the telescope.
(如果改成人,意義就更不清楚了,在寫作上其實應該要想辦法避免這種句子)
I saw the dog, with the telescope.
透過加上逗號 後面意義上的主詞就會聯想到是跟著前面的句子
(當然在這個句子裡可能看起來有點不必要,在某些很長又模糊的句子就顯得很重要)
