[請益] "研究所"翻譯的問題
在台灣，如果只有所沒有系，會翻成
Graduate institute of XXX
那要強調是碩士班，或博士班呢？是這樣嗎？
M.A. Program, Graduate institute of XXX
又如果有所也有系呢？
M.A. Program, Department of XXX
Ph.D. Program, Department of XXX
為何美國不少是 Graduate school of XXX？還有別種嗎？
是因為，台灣的系所都歸於 Colleage of YYY下，1院多系所
美國則是 1GS多種學位和program嗎？
又，為何MIT是Massachusetts Institute of Technology .....
已經在美國念碩士的朋友突然問我，我也頗好奇的 :P
