[文法] It is/was her own fault??
以下是在下在Longman Language Activator看到的兩個句子:
1.He played very well, and it "is" not his fault we lost.
2.Marie failed the exam, but it "was" her own fault - she didn't do any work.
第二句的時態前後一致，都用過去式;但第一句就怪了，
卻用it is not his fault.兩句都是fault這個單字的用
法例句，第一句裡的三個動詞時態卻不一，請問在文法
上應如何解釋?
同理，看過這樣的句子: It is my mistake that I lost
the car. 如果比照上面第二例句的話，是不是應該說
It was my...比較合文法?
一直困擾時態文法，例如 I came here to 我來這裡...
為什麼不用come here...? That's how Dad did it.
請問為什麼不是That was how Dad did it ?
