[文法] such...as...和such as 的用法
我在英文翻譯書中看到如下的用法, 覺得不太了解,所以希望英文好的網友可以幫我解說
一下:
1. Such as have plenty of money will never want for friends.
= Those who have plenty of money will never want for friends.
2. Her behavior was such as might be expected of a young lady.
= Her behavior was that which might be expected of a young lady.
以上兩句中 such as = those who ? such as = that which?
請問這是什麼用法呢?such as 在上述兩例中的句型要如何翻譯呢?
3. This is such an easy book as any child can read.
4. This is such an easy book that any child can read it.
以上兩句的差別在哪呢?第三句的such...as...應該如何翻譯較好呢?
