[問題] 如何計算FIFO的size
最近在interview被問到 FIFO的size
題目是:
Q1:It is required to connect a Master, which generates data @ 200 Mega
Samples/sec to a Slave which can receive the data @ 10 Mega Samples/Sec.
If the data lost in 10Micro Sec, what is the optimal size of FIFO
to be used to avoid lose of data?
Q2: Sender sends data at the rate of 80 words / 100 clocks
Receiver can consume at the rate of 8 words / 10 clocks
Calculate the depth of FIFO

FIFO SIZE= B - B * Frd / (Fwr* Idle_cycle _rd )
B 是 "Number of data in a Burst "
Frd 是 reading freq
Fwr 是 writing freq
可是依然不懂所謂的"B" 要如何求得
或是哪為網友有更好的方式可以計算FIFO的size?
