I had a great day yesterday.
The super boss gave me a cryptic compliment, other managers all committed.
I thought you'd be in Berlin already but you were there.
I was invincible, I had a great day, I looked amazing.
But today, god, what is it about today?
I saw your double take from the reflection.
I wanted to talk to you, wanted to say it was a shame you didn't show.
But I had back to back meetings, so well.
You were just 2 steps in front of me, you knew it too.
You were going to catch your flight, with FT under your arms.
You didn't even say good bye.
It was fine, after all, we are like this here.
We've always been like this.
But then I realized the next time I see you is in a month's time.
4 full fucking weeks.
