git: sh: Fix unquoted $@/$* if IFS=''.

sh: Fix unquoted $@/$* if IFS=''.
If IFS is null, unquoted $@/$* should still expand to separate words.
This differs from quoted $@ (which does not depend on IFS) in that
pathname generation is performed and empty words are removed.
