Strange problem trying to untar a file...
Hey guys, so I was trying to install pkgsrc for DragonFly...only I
never actually got that far... Here's what I did, and what happened:
# fetch ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc.tar.gz
# mv pkgsrc.tar.gz /usr
# cd /usr
All this works fine, then...
# tar zxf pkgsrc.tar.gz
Now comes the disk activity you'd expect as the file is untarred, but
after the heavy disk activity finishes it seems like the process
doesn't. There is some more short, occasional disk activity, and
then, after a long delay...
vnlru_proc: vnode recycler stopped working!
This message repeats over and over again and hasn't stopped yet. Been
about three hours now... This is from a fresh install of the March
31st snapshot of DragonFly-Stable. Don't know if this helps, but it
also happens on a snapshot from March 1st...
