不知何時開始，許多台灣CS會員的區域顯示上被加上了[Province of China (中國的一省)] 這個羞辱台灣民眾的詞彙剛剛看了CS區域活動，活動地點也都被加上了Province of China 真刺眼 \(`皿’)/ 寫信給CS反應，出乎預料的，居然20分鐘就收到回信 (以為會石沉大海，或機器人罐頭回覆) 以下是CS的回應內容: Thanks for contacting us about this and we're very sorry that Taiwan is being displayed this way on profiles. We are currently using Google's location database on the Couchsurfing website, who appears to be using the ISO naming convention for countries. That being said, we completely understand that it shouldn't be displayed this way and will do our best to update the name as soon as possible.
