"There's a lot of people pursuing Brad," Bartelstein said during a phone interview. Miller's name has been mentioned as a possibility in both Boston and Miami over the last couple of weeks, with both teams showing interest in the center, but if the Bulls make the right offer the veteran big man would probably like to return. He was a very popular figure in the locker room last season and came on strong down the stretch after struggling to find his groove at the beginning of the year. Also, the Bulls have the cap space to offer Miller the type of deal that neither the Celtics nor Heat can probably offer at the moment, because of the other high-priced deals they've made recently. "[Miller] loves it in Chicago," Bartelstein said. Turkish center Omer Asik has agreed to a deal with the Bulls and is expected to be in training camp in a few months, but it is still unclear whether he will be able to contribute right away. Bartelstein expects to have discussions with several teams this week, including the Bulls, especially now that the hoopla surrounding LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh is over. "You never know for sure," Bartelstein said of the time frame. "But I think Brad would like to make a decision by the end of the week."
