DOC談及賽隊對於穩固球隊陣容的需求。 The Celtics are looking for help following season-ending injuries to Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger and Leandro Barbosa. "Danny [Ainge] and I, we thought about it and we all have been thinking about it since all the injuries," Rivers said. "With the last one with Barbosa, now we can't look at one position anymore. That's what we were looking at - looking at size first, then a guard. Now we're looking at players. We need players. We need to pick up a couple of players as soon as we can get them. We have to be very careful in what we do." Asked what kind of player would help most right away, Rivers said: "I would say a ball-handling guard. It's no longer a point guard, it's just a guard. So now some of the American players that are playing over there will begin coming back over to our league. The D-League. And then obviously through a trade. We don't have a lot of assets to trade, so we have to be very careful there." 那要去哪裡找這樣的球員呢? "I don't think he's ready yet," Rivers said. "I can tell you he's really working on it. I just don't think he's ready yet." 至於在發展聯盟展現出防守端主宰力的Melo呢? "Yeah, that's something we're looking at," Rivers acknowledged. "I don't know where we're going to go with that. Again, we have to be so careful. One thing I love about Delonte is his toughness. But the other thing you don't like is that he does get injured a lot. So you're worried about that as well, beside the other stuff." 那Delonte West呢? But I think during the season he's like a lot of coaches at times who think about it. If you ask them during the middle of the season are they coming back, they would probably say, 'I doubt it,' because it's such a grind - and especially for him. But I wouldn't put too much into that." 關於KG先前所說的"今年將會是他最後一次參加ASG"，令人猜測本季結束之後KG 是不是就要退休了，DOC也道出了他的想法： "關於Kevin，我認為每一年的狀況都會有所不同，我真的這樣認為。我認為他愛死了這些比賽，而且他也打得太好了，不會就這樣一走了之。不過我覺得在賽季中他有時會像很多教練那樣想著離開這件事，如果你在季中詢問那些教練是否下個賽季還會再回來，他們可能會說"不太可能"，因為這是一件苦差事，尤其是對KG來說。但我不會針對這件事去想太多" (口嫌體正直??) 心得： DOC在這個訪問中很明確的說出賽隊目前需要的是哪種類型的球員(shooter as a 1 or 2, rebounder as a 4)，也說出要從哪裡去找人(CBA, D-League, a trade)，更表明了Melo目前(本季)只能在場邊吸收經驗。希望是直接加人而不是透過交易，目前有穩定上場時間的實在是一個都捨不得丟 (包含Bass)，但如果能找到RPG比Bass高上許多的4號球員的話，倒是可以坐下來喝杯茶談談 XDDDDDD -- Why don't you bring your face up here and let me punch it?
