As Celts starter Delonte West deals with that criticism, he has a supporter in Chauncey Billups, who was with five teams in his first five years because of that issue. That he became the NBA Finals MVP with Team No. 6 makes him rather an expert on the subject. I like Delonte,” said Billups, who began with the Celts but was shipped out before the end of his first season. “I think he’s really solid. He’s kind of long, pretty good defender, can shoot the ball. He’s a good young player. People shouldn’t be worrying about him not being a true point guard or anything like that.
