紐約郵報報導，自由球員Varejao原先要求六年六千五百萬合約，據說稍微降價
，要求六年五千四百萬合約，也就是每年平均調降一百五十萬左右。但騎士現在連Go
oden等級的薪水（年均六百三十萬左右）都不願給他。我自己是覺得騎士沒這麼無情
啦，話說回來這降幅真的太少，大V還是不夠格拿九百萬。

Back to dollars and sense. The Cavs realize Varejao's $10 million-a-y
ear demands are outlandish (they've offered about $6 million, I'm told).
Pavlovic wants somewhere around $5 million a season (the Cavs supposedly
offered $3 million).
I've already stressed how valuable they are to the team. If they don't
return, the Cavs will make the playoffs. But they will probably be one of
the lower seeds in the Eastern Conference and get knocked off early. Ferry
, of course, must separate himself from being a fan. His team's financial
flexibility in the coming years is vitally important. Once some of the bad
contracts come off the books in the coming years, it will be Ferry's job t
o reload this team and try to re-sign LeBron James to another maximum cont
ract.
