The Nets no longer have Jeff McInnis in their future plans and McInnis knows
his days in New Jersey are done.

Yet, the veteran point guard is still contracted to play this season with the
Nets, there's apparently no trade market for the him and informal talks of a
buyout have stalled.
可是!!!這位有經驗的控衛仍跟網隊有一年合約,而且沒有人對他特別有興趣,買斷的計畫

"It's just kind of hanging there right now," Nets president Rod Thorn said.
Thorn表示:"現在就是晾在那等囉"
While the Nets-McInnis stalemate may not appear to be an urgent manner now,
the tenor of the matter may change in the coming weeks. The Nets will have 14
players under contract after forward Cliff Robinson and second-round pick
Hassan Adams are signed, and would like to free up a roster spot.
網隊跟McInnis堅持不下的關係現在是不急啦,不過在過幾個星期如還是這樣就糗啦.
網隊如果簽下羅老伯跟第二輪新人Hassan Adams,那有合約的就14個人了,會需要空出

McInnis, entering the last of a two-year contract, would like to know where
his future lies with only a few roster spots available around the league.
進入兩年合約最後一年的McInnis想知道在聯盟些許還空著的位置,哪兒有他的未來
"There's not really much we can do," said Steve Kauffman, McInnis' agent.
"He's under contract with them and obviously the coach there doesn't like
him. So I don't know what's going to happen yet."
McInnis的經記人Kauffman表示他們也沒什麼可做,因為合約還在,而且教練不喜歡他,

McInnis' stint with the Nets has been a disaster. He signed a two-year, $7
million deal last summer to back up Jason Kidd. But McInnis quickly fell out
of Lawrence Frank's rotation and grumbled about his lack of playing time
before requiring knee surgery in January.
McInnis在網隊的日子是一場災難.去年夏天簽了2年700萬的合約,預計擔任Kidd的替補,
可是他很快就被Frank冷凍,而且在他一月接受膝蓋手術前,抱怨著上場時間太少
McInnis had hoped to return late in the season or in the playoffs, but he was
left off the postseason roster and directed not to attend any more games or
practices.

而且接到不用參加任何比賽或練習的指示
McInnis is slated to make $3.6 million this season and all signs would point
to a buyout. Kauffman said he and Thorn had preliminary discussions in
mid-June, but "they haven't gone much beyond that."
McInnis預定這季可以拿到360萬,種種的徵兆都顯示出應該會有買斷.Kauffman說他跟
Thorn在六月中有初步的討論,不過網隊也沒再多著墨
Thorn indicated his dissatisfaction with the buyout offer made by Kauffman,
believed to be around $2.5 million.
Thorn不滿Kauffman提出約要求250萬的買斷
"All I can say right now is we're actively trying to do something with
(McInnis)," Thorn said. "I'm sure it'll get resolved one way or the other
before the season starts."
Thorn表示網隊正嘗試做些什麼,而且確定在開季前會有所進展的
