[福音] 復活期第五週 週六
你們不屬於世界，因為我從世界中揀選了你們
福音：若十五18-21
耶穌對門徒們說：
「世界若恨你們，你們該知道，在你們以前，它已恨了我。
若是你們屬於世界，世界必喜愛你們，有如屬於自己的人；
但因你們不屬於世界，而是 我從世界中揀選了你們，為此，世界才恨你們。
你們要記得我對你們所說過的話：
沒有僕人大過主人的；
如果人們迫害了我，也要迫害你們；
如果他們遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的。
但是，他們為了我名字的緣故，要向你們作這一切，
因為他們不認識那派遣我來的。」
反省
耶穌從世界中揀選了人作基督徒，使他們不再屬於世界，且被世界仇恨。
因此，我們可以反省：
我們在這個的世界生活得如何？如魚得水？
很喜歡過奢華的生活？金錢物質至上？
還是覺得有很多誘惑？有很多邪惡？
世界恨你們？還是世界喜歡你們？
我們面對世界，固然有時會不自覺地陷於誘惑，得罪天主，
那是「不認識天父」的結果。
因為生活中免不了這種掙扎，我們更要多祈禱，認識耶穌和祂的父，
得著力量對抗誘惑。

Jesus said to his disciples:
“If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.
If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own;
but because you do not belong to the world,
and I have chosen you out of the world,
the world hates you.
Remember the word I spoke to you,
‘No slave is greater than his master.’
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.
If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
And they will do all these things to you on account of my name,
because they do not know the one who sent me.”
