瑪爾谷福音3:13-19
隨後，耶穌上了山，把自己所想要的人召來，他們便來到他面前。
他就選定了十二人，為同他常在一起，並為派遣他們去宣講，且具有驅魔的權柄。
他選定了這十二人：
西滿，給他起名叫伯多祿，
載伯德的兒子雅各伯和雅各伯的弟弟若望，
並為他們起名叫「波納爾革」，就是「雷霆之子」，
安德肋、斐理伯、巴爾多祿茂、瑪竇、多默、阿爾斐的兒子雅各伯，
達陡和熱誠者西滿，
並猶達斯依斯加略，他是負賣耶穌者。
13 He now went up onto the mountain and summoned those he wanted. So they
came to him
14 and he appointed twelve; they were to be his companions and to be sent out
to proclaim the message,
15 with power to drive out devils.
16 And so he appointed the Twelve, Simon to whom he gave the name Peter,
17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom he gave
the name Boanerges or 'Sons of Thunder';
18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus,
Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot
19 and Judas Iscariot, the man who was to betray him.
