Blanchett is a five-time Academy Award nominee, who took home the supporting
actress Oscar in 2004 for her performance as Katharine Hepburn in The
Aviator. She also received supporting actress nominations for Notes on a
Scandal and I’m Not There in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Blanchett
received lead actress nominations for her performances as Queen Elizabeth I
in Elizabeth (1998) and Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007).
