Someone may not have the same expectations of a relationship as you do, Moonchild. You may be starting to get an inkling of this now. This may be coming through someone's random contact when they assume that everything is okay or that nothing has changed, but for you that is not the case. You may even be surprised that this assumption would be made considering that you have very strong feelings about it. Even so, no response is better than an angry response if you don't wish to progress any further than this.
