There are reports that Fiorentina have agreed a ￡7.5m deal to sign Gaetano D
’Agostino from Udinese.
Sky Italia television, Radioblu and Datasport all claim this evening that an
agreement has been reached between the clubs.
Midfielder D’Agostino had been hot property on the transfer market last
summer after extensive negotiations with Juventus and Real Madrid.
Udinese had refused those moves because they did not meet the expected
price-tag, but that has reduced considerably a year later.
That is because D’Agostino has barely featured this season due to a series
of injuries.
He has five senior Italy caps and the Roma youth product joined Udinese in
2006.
