It will be dropping on May 15th as a digital download. This does mean that there will be no physical copies of the game, which is a tad disappointing as it was released physically in Japan. However, it will come with over 100 songs, most of which being classic favourites from previous titles. Fans can not only pre-order the game now, but there are already six DLC packs that come with six songs each and a free pack that will be made available at launch. While the game can be played with traditional button controls, it being a Switch exclusive means it comes with a separate motion-control mode, where the songs can be played by twisting the Joy-Cons.
