[News] M.Jackson: It’s not Anthony's fault

Another Carmelo Anthony supporter voiced his opinion Saturday.
Former Knick and TV color analyst Mark Jackson threw his support behind Anthon
y, saying the oft-maligned forward, who has been the subject of numerous trade
rumor reports, has too long been on a talent island with the Knicks.

“It’s not just him. You don’t win with just one person. He’s a great playe
r, a future Hall of Famer. There’s no question,” said Jackson, at the Garden
to broadcast the Knicks-Cavaliers game and濳o be honored by his old team as p
art of the 1988-89 “Bomb Squad” reunion. “To me, it’s been team-wise. They
haven’t been successful overall.

團隊的整合，而尼克還沒整合達到一個成功的團隊"
“What he’s done and what he’s been able to do should be acknowledged and re
cognized as one of the great Knicks. You mean to tell me the same Carmelo Anth
ony, if he plays for the Knicks with [Dave] DeBusschere and [Earl] Monroe and
[Bill] Bradley and Willis [Reed] and Clyde [Frazier], then he’s an all-time g
reat just because he played with those guys? … Part of the responsibility is
collectively. He’s a great basketball player.”

Jackson also praised Anthony for his off-court work and dealing with the media

MJ希望甜瓜能安然度過這堆鳥事(媒體之類的......)
“He never hides. Never afraid. Great in the community. Speaks his mind, has b
een a leader throughout this league,” Jackson said. “I’ve seen guys buckle
when 20,000 people are thinking, ‘Pass the ball, you’re shooting too much.’
He’s a great player and he [couldn’t] care less. He’s going out and gettin
g the job done. I’ve seen teams push guys out and wish they had them back. …
He’s the one guy, with all due respect to everybody else, that you have to,
as the opposition, game-plan against and he’s the one you highlight.”

此時此刻，不少球員多少會被束縛住了、遲疑了 ,但他從不去在意這些，他繼續集中注
意力去試著打出一場好球罷了，這就是為什麼他是個好球員，MJ這樣子說道
“我看過一些球員被球隊丟出，而後來他們後悔了……”
PS. 最後應該是寫什麼…恕我直言，你們應該也要給他尊重之類的…畢竟他也只是個普通
