What "AMSA" means? 亞醫簡介
Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) is an international students'
organisation formed by medical students' associations in Asia and Oceania.
At present, it has 10 regional members representing Australia, Hong Kong,
Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, The Philippines
and Thailand.
The main activities each year include participating in two annual
scientific-based medical and cultural conferences, namely the Asian Medical
Students' Conference (AMSC) during August and East Asian Medical Students'
Conference (EAMSC) in March.
AMSA works closely with the World Health Organisation (WHO), Association Of
South-East Asia Nations (ASEAN), International Federation Of Medical
Students' Association, (IFMSA) and the European Medical Students' Association
(EMSA).
OBJECTIVES OF AMSA:
1. To promote understanding in medical and health problems as well as to
share experiences in solving them.
2. To promote the interest and welfare of medical students in Asia and
Oceania.
3. To foster unity and to promote profound inter-personal relationships
amongst its members.
4. To uphold humanitarian ideals and medical ethics.
5. To encourage cooperation among future doctors in Asia and Oceania

亞醫呢是一群來自亞洲各國的醫學生,由起初的交流聚會.泡茶聊天,然後逐漸發展
起來的一個組織. 他們從最初的閒聊到後來漸發展出來一些目標:期望醫學生能為
社會做一些事....然而他們所討論的內容也漸以"學術性"為主軸(其餘為輔)
然後各國的醫學生會展開定期的交流活動,譬如每年冬天辦的"東亞醫(EAMSC)"
還有每年暑假辦的"亞醫(AMSA)"(規模較大)
活動的內容還瞞豐富的:包括academic,social program, cultral night event
不單是大家想像中枯燥的研討會...絕對不是XD 還有表演,到當地的城市"實查"
還有跟各國學生的contact and interaction(in English)...
