Yankees, Red Sox square off at Fenway tonight

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -
Once the game starts, Fenway Park is like any other for Chien-Ming Wang.
"I don't hear the fans," the Yankees' right-hander said.
一旦比賽開始，對王建民而言，芬威球場跟其他的球場無異。這位洋基的右投手說，
「我聽不到球迷的聲音」
But the time leading up to his first pitch is a unique experience.
但在比賽開始前的一段時間，等著他的是一種很特別的經驗。
"The fans yell at you when you're warming up," Wang said. "That doesn't
happen anywhere else."

Asked what gets said while he's in the bullpen, Wang smiled.

Baseball's best rivalry renews tonight when the Yankees and Red Sox meet
at Fenway. Wang will face Clay Buchholz. Counting the postseason, it will
be the 109th team the teams have played since 2003.
棒球中最強的世仇對決將在今晚再一次開始，洋基在芬威球場對上紅襪。

The biggest change in the dynamic between the teams is that Joe Girardi
now manages the Yankees instead of Joe Torre. But Girardi has experienced
Fenway Park as a player and as a coach. He doesn't expect it to be much
different now that he's a manager.
最大的不同就是，洋基的總教練換人了。但是吉拉迪曾經以球員及教練團成員
見識過這場面，他認為就算他是總教練了，場面還是一樣的。
"I think it'll be just as hostile and enjoyable and intense," Girardi said.
"It's great. Any time you go into ballparks and it's full, whether they're
for you or against you, it's a good environment because it's loud and people
are on the edge of their seats. I always think that's a great environment
for athletes to play in."
「我想，這將會是充滿敵意，但又摻雜令人享受及緊張刺激的」，吉拉迪說，

Wang is 5-5 with a 4.56 ERA against the Red Sox. Boston's lineup will test
his determination to use more sliders and changeups.

"They know me," Wang said. "I know I need to throw different pitches against
them."

Wang won his first two starts, allowing only two earned runs over 13 innings
while striking out eight.

"Everything has been good so far," he said.

Mike Mussina is scheduled to start for the Yankees tomorrow, facing
Josh Beckett. The Sunday matchup would be Phil Hughes against
Daisuke Matsuzaka.

The Yankees were 10-8 against the Red Sox last season but Boston won the
American League East by two games then went on to win the World Series.
