You can pitch a shut out and still not get a win. neoh: Do you know Wang's ERA against playoff teams are well below 3.00? Talking about big game pitcher, no one in the Yankee's rotation is better than Wang in terms of facing good teams - by FAR! Win to an extent is a team stat, but come to think about it, it also reflects the rate of quality outing and the ability to hold the leads. It shows the consistency of a pitcher. IMO Wang is the most consistent pitcher in our rotation. Statistically, 0.09 difference in ERA is not even meaningful, so don't even bring this up. Anyone who knows a little bit about statistic knows 0.09 difference in ERA is meaningless with small sample. 15+ wins in two season is no fluke (Do you see Small repeat his performance the second season?). Anyone who won more than 16 games for straight two season is the ACE in my book (and so is the fact on Yankee's website).
