[-Fx-] 擋廣告的新選擇 Bluhell Firewall
長久以來 AdBlock Plus 一直是我 Fireofx 必裝的 addon。
不過這種用黒名單來擋廣告的方式，
在名單愈建愈長的狀況下，所耗掉的系統資源也愈來愈多。
乾淨的 Firefox 22.0 tete 啟動約要 60 MB 的記憶體，
但是加上 ABP, China List, Easy List 後，
所需記憶體暴增到 150 MB 左右，
這遠超出我的想像及容忍範圍。
身為一個 addon 怎麼可以比主程式還要花資源呢。

本月精選 Bluhell Firewall 立刻就吸引了我的注意。

covering about 7000 .com and .net domains,
these were auto-generated from Easylist.
看起來正是我需要的。
Bluhell 所需的記憶體大概只有 2 MB。
在看圖多的網頁時，可以感覺到 Firefox 翻頁比較順暢。
不過因為是用規則來過慮廣告，所以不免有漏網之魚，
所以我還是保留 ABP 再加上 Element Hiding Helper
來手動濾掉無法忍受的廣告。
推薦給記憶體比較吃緊的舊電腦。
