The Concretes tour Taiwan in December!!
_____________________________________________________________________
Sorry for the late notice again but still an exciting one. After the
semi indie radio stations hit with that Magic Numbers guy (mmmm…
right..you got it Romeo Stodart). Now it's Taiwan's term ..Stockholm
indie pop sensation to bring their Swedish indie pop to the maximum
with a big size band.
The Concretes confirmed a quick visit to our shore for the first time
ever…even we can't give you Victoria Bergsman but at least all we
can present you is the full band mode (right! everyone of them, sure
it's a big one)!!
The band will be in the full band mode spinning around their career -
from their classic album "The Concretes" to their latest "Hey
Trouble".
The 7 pieces full band will take 1 festival date & a side show on
this trip. It will be happen in just 2 weeks time, don't miss them
out (for their private but not so private happy big band sound)if
you got a chance to see them really playing live in front of you.
It's trippin'… trippin'… trippin'… and happy trippin'in the
winter !!!
Dates & press release (both English & Chinese) will be available here
in a day or two. More bands touring in the winter for the early next
year run will be announce shortly.

● The Concretes
Alternative Press (Rated: 5/5)
A snow globe of an album that's sparkling,
brilliant and only held back by gravity.
New Musical Express (Rated: 9/10)
An understated classic: a triumph of delicacy
over decibels.
Filter (Radte: A)
It's simple, easy listening.
Entertainment Weekly (Radte: A)
The staccato horns and guitar drones bathed in
Wall of Gloom reverb provide just enough warmth
to ward off frostbite.
Pitchfork (Radte: 81/100)
The tracks on The Concretes are easily their
most accomplished, fluid statement to date.
Under The Radar
"Completes the near impossible accomplishment of
making a mood record without becoming repetitive".
Dot Music
There are moments when The Concretes ape Mazzy
Star a little too closely for comfort on this
album, but overplaying a talent for languorous,
delicious fuzz pop is hardly the most horrific
of crimes.
Uncut ★★★★
"The best thing to come out of Sweden for a while
... apart from porn".
Amazon.com
"Corralling such a large cast into anything like
a coherent vision is no easy task, but it's one
that the Concretes manage with some aplomb on a
consistently spectacular album".
● In Colour
Filter (Rated: A)
"Rife with evocations of springtime and shooting
stars and first loves".
The Guardian ★★★★
"The album snuggles up between the band's fellow
Swedes the Cardigans and the Mamas and the Papas,
but never settles".
Q Magazine ★★★★
"Mogis finds a spectrum of hues in their
previously monochrome sound".
Paste Magazine (album guide ★★★★)
"In Colour's palette trades the silver hues of
frosty Stockholm for the quivering bronze of
cornfields in July".
All Music Guide ★★★★
"Full of quietly vibrant moments".
Under The Radar ★★★★
"Great songs--perhaps classic songs--share the
table with a few sub-par, albeit pleasant,
offerings".
Dusted Magazine
"The record paints The Concretes' personality
in richer detail without giving up one iota of
their distinctive spookiness".
More info comin'in a day or two. Stay tuned..
