香港聖經公會－和合本修訂版當中，
不少含有＂鄰＂(希伯來文rea'，希臘文πλησιοs)的經文翻譯都跟著改變
（本來都翻譯成＂人＂），十誡的內文也改變了。
希伯來文rea'：
名詞，陽性字：鄰舍，另一人，互相
希臘文πλησιοs ：
名詞，陽性字：鄰舍 => πλησιον 名詞，中性字；或副詞
