我有兩個朋友是華裔美國人,哈佛畢業,
他們當家教已經有四五年了!
都是女生,很好相處,也很有耐心~
tutor的地點在Cambridge,可以約地鐵紅線沿線~
(如果你可以到Porter square,價錢可議!!)
他只想在公共場所tutor,想請她到家裡的話可能就沒辦法了,
畢竟他是的是女生,還是會擔心安全問題~

I've been tutoring English for years,
and have been correcting grammar and vocabulary for English composition
and business writing. We can work on areas of weakness
that the student has identified,
or we can just work through a lesson plan --
it's really whatever the student wants.
My areas of expertise are:

focused on culture, casual conversation, pronunciation, and grammar

focused on verb tenses, subject-predicate agreement, syntax, etc
* comprehension -
focused on understanding what you read, watch on TV, and hear
* academic writing -
focused on sentence structure and strong focus on grammar

focused on writing professionally, resume and cover letter writing
I try to be very interactive, friendly, and patient.
Also, I like to focus on grammar and vocabulary that is going to be
relevant to what the student is learning or trying to achieve.

Conversational English rates are $25/hr if you are able to come to Porter Square.
If there's more than one student, we can make that $20/hr.
Regular grammar and comprehension is $30/hr
since I will probably have to provide some exercise materials.
The first meeting will be an assessment.
