Perhaps mindful of this event, members of Blur and New Order have formed a band named Bad Lieutenant, and have recorded an album scheduled for release in October. Bass player Alex James is the only Blur member present, and he's clearly ready to capitalize on the big bucks generated by the band’s well publicized reunion this year. Perhaps James' cheese making isn't going so well? Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris join James in the lineup. Sumner says he is "very proud" of the record. "It's pretty guitary too because we've got three guitarists in the band," he told the BBC.
