Details on Cristian Javier’s five-year, $64 million extension with Houston,
per sources:
2023: $3 million (plus $2M signing bonus)
2024: $7M
2025: $10M
2026: $21M
2027: $21M
He’ll still hit FA at 30. Strong deal for a guy who still hasn’t had a full
season at starting pitcher.
