※ [本文轉錄自 MLB 看板 #1NXcT0fO ] 作者: leegogo (李狗狗) 看板: MLB 標題: [討論] The Tenors團員在唱加國歌時竟竄改歌詞 時間: Thu Jul 14 00:07:23 2016 事情是這樣的，MLB All-star賽前，邀請來自加拿大的The Tenors演唱加拿大國歌 影片: http://goo.gl/xp8GgM 唱到一半，最左邊的團員竟然舉起 ALL LIVES MATTER的標語 可能是對最近美國的警察(黑人)槍擊事件表達政治立場，不僅如此 他接下來唱的時候還擅自更改歌詞，原本是 "With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!" 擅自唱成 "To our brothers and sisters...all lives matter to the brave" 這個行為真的很不智，國歌是不能亂改的，況且被你拿來評論美國時事Orz 此舉引起廣大的不滿，隨後The Tenors發表道歉聲明 The Tenors are deeply sorry for the disrespectful and misguided lack of judgment by one member of the group acting as a 'lone wolf' today during the singing of the Canadian national anthem at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Diego. The other members of the group are shocked and embarrassed by the actions of Remigio Pereira, who changed the lyrics of our treasured anthem and used this coveted platform to serve his own political views. Our sincere apologies and regrets go out to everybody who witnessed this shameful act, to our fellow Canadians, to Major League Baseball, to our friends, families, fans and to all those affected.
