多特蒙德官方宣布，球隊和老門將魏登費勒續約到2017年6月30日。
現年35歲的魏登費勒已經為大黃蜂效力了14年，是隊內效力時間最
長的球員。續約之後魏登費勒也表示：“很高興能繼續成為多特蒙德
的一份子。”
而多特體育主管佐爾克也表示：“無論是場上還是場下，羅曼都是球
隊的重要組成部分，很高興他能繼續幫助球隊前進。”
2002年魏登費勒從凱澤斯勞滕加盟多特，期間他也幫助球隊獲得了
很多榮譽。此前他也表示：“我在多特效力了這麼長時間，這裡就像
我的家一樣。”

Today BVB extended Roman Weidenfeller’s contract, due to terminate at
the end of the season, another year, which will now run until the 30th
June 2017. “I am happy and grateful to be able to play a further part in the
new and positive development of BVB,” explained the 35 year old goalkeeper.
Weidenfeller, who was part of the German national team squad that won
the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, has played for Borussia Dortmund for
nearly 14 years. He is by far the longest-serving player in the squad and
comes in 2ndplace in the list of the most-capped BVB players in the
Bundesliga.
“Roman, with his footballing and personal attributes, was and still is an
important part of our squad and always displays high standards of
professionalism,” emphasised Sports Director Michael Zorc, and added:
“We are very pleased that’ll we’ll be moving forward in the future
together”.
Weidenfeller, who moved from FC Kaiserslautern to Dortmund in 2002,
won the Bundesliga with BVB in 2011 and 2012, as well as the DFB Cup in
2012 and reached the Champions League final in 2013, and described
“the allegiance to the team because of my longstanding affiliation with
the club the decisive factor in my contract renewal”. The goalkeeper
added; “after 14 years I feel at home in Dortmund”.
