不過贏國泰不多, 若6月罷工下去的話,明年可能就換CX超前了. https://www.sfgate.com/travel/article/Airlines-ranking-SFO-13875046.php http://bit.ly/2wuKyT4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No other airline comes close: United firmly held on to its position as the largest airline at San Francisco International Airport in 2018. That's based on airport statistics that track the average number of seats each airline flew out of SFO last year. (See chart below and note that we are talking about the number of seats here, not the number of flights.) RECOMMENDED VIDEO With all the growth on the international front, it's not surprising to see many foreign carriers break the top ten on this year's list, all with multiple daily flights using enormous aircraft with hundreds of seats. Here's the rundown of the top 10: #1: United Airlines comes in at number one with 44 percent of the market-- more than three times the number of seats offered (some 30 million last year) by the next airline on the ranking. In terms of flights, United led the pack, too, at 48 percent. This shouldn't come as a surprise. SFO is a hub for the carrier, and the primary international gateway for United's transpacific network. The latest figure reflects United's slight growth at SFO in 2018, when it added flights to places like Tahiti or Zurich. #2: Now that it has combined with Virgin America, Alaska Airlines is SFO's second largest carrier, but even with that title, it only controls 13 percent of the airport's seats, about 9 million last year. That's slightly fewer than the number of seats per day Alaska flew out of SFO in 2017. #3: American Airlines ranked third place, with 8 percent of the SFO's seats. The world's largest airline flies to most of its hubs out of SFO: Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, Charlotte, Miami, Philadelphia, Chicago O'Hare, and Los Angeles. #4: Delta Air Lines comes in fourth place, with a 7 percent share. Like American, the carrier flies primarily to its hubs out of SFO like Atlanta, Minneapolis and Detroit, and competes for business travelers on the busy routes to Los Angeles, New York and Seattle. Like American, Delta flew about 5 million seats in and out of SFO in 2018. #5: Southwest Airlines which has a much smaller presence at SFO than it does at Oakland or San Jose, comes in at #5 at SFO (also at 7 percent), with slightly fewer seats than Delta. But it has slightly more flights per month, mostly to cities in the west. #6: JetBlue Airways rounds out the domestic carriers at number six in the top ten at 3 percent. The carrier has been shrinking on the West Coast, and 2018's ranking shows JetBlue operated 200 fewer seats (or roughly one flight a day) out of SFO. JetBlue operates nonstops to New York-Kennedy, Boston-Logan, Fort Lauderdale and Long Beach. Here's where things get interesting, and reaffirms San Francisco's place as a big international hub: #7: Air Canada comes in seventh with 2 percent of seats, or around 1.3 million last year with flights to its hubs in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Some of those Toronto flights are operated by Air Canada's larger Boeing 787 Dreamliner which helps to boost seat counts. Many Bay Areans have found great deals on Air Canada's flights to Europe or Asia, which connect in Canada on the way. #8: In eighth place: Taiwan's EVA Air, with just 1 percent of seats (705K last year) to Taiwan on its three daily departures to Taipei out of SFO on its big green 777 jets. Two of those flights are practically wingtip-to-wingtip departures that are scheduled to leave within 20 minutes of each other in the wee hours of the morning. #9: Cathay Pacific is in ninth place with 633K last year to and from SFO to its hub in Hong Kong. It operates big 777 and Airbus A350 jets two to three times a day to HKG. #10: Germany's flag carrier Lufthansa — which just celebrated its 59th year of service to San Francisco — rounds out the top ten. It flew 582K seats last year to and from Frankfurt and Munich. One of those flights is usually an Airbus A380 super jumbo, which is the world's largest commercial passenger jet. Coming in close to the top 10, there is British Airways, Korean Air, Virgin Atlantic, Hawaiian, Air France and Singapore Air, all with multiple daily SFO flights.- see the slideshow at the top of this post for the top 16! Which airlines flew the fewest seats at SFO last year? Finnair, Thomas Cook and XL Airways, which only offer seasonal service, as well as Iberia, which arrived at SFO later in 2018. -- Sent from my Nokia 3310 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 118.161.240.193 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Aviation/M.1559313890.A.B4A.html
