Athletics losing Ellis to DL?

The Oakland Athletics have lost seven straight games and sit in last place
the American League West, seven games behind the Texas Rangers. And the news
keeps getting worse for the A's. The Oakland Tribune reports that the team is
about to lose second baseman Mark Ellis(notes) to the disabled list.

而且運動家隊禍不單行，據Oakland Tribune 報導，球隊大概
會把二壘手Mark Ellis放到傷兵名單。
Ellis left the game in the sixth Monday after straining his right hamstring
while pursuing a popup earlier in the game, the Tribune reports. He will
evaluate the strain when he wakes up Tuesday, but the feeling is that he's
headed to the DL and second baseman Jemile Weeks will make his major league
debut.
週一比賽第六局時，Ellis 為了追打一球上昇球，結果拉傷右後
腿肌腱便被換下場。週二等他起床就得讓醫生評估他的傷勢，但

"We just haven't been playing well for the last week," A's manager Bob Geren
said, according to the Tribune. "It's a total package. From the first pitch,
and every single inning."
