The position requires hands on experience of ALD processes/equipment, characterization of thin films, and understanding of their use in customer processes. Key aspects of the position are as follows. (1) ALD/CVD depositions of the novel precursors (2) Develop processes using novel coreactants (3) Optimization of thin film growth conditions through the deposition of thin films on in-house tools (4) Knowledge of basic material characterization tools such as EDXRF, Ellipsometry, 4- point probes, and SEM/TEM (5) Analyze data and prepare technical presentations for internal and external reviews (6) Provide technical support to internal and external customers (7) Understanding of chemistries related to process films and semiconductor application needed (8) Experience working with customers and good customer-oriented attitude required. (9) Good Project Management skills. (10) Highly motivated and results-oriented. (11) Support marketing with technology assessments and customer and industry trends. Feed back to the technology team the future trends/requirements at the customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science with an emphasis on thin film deposition processes such as ALD/CVD. An advanced degree in engineering can also be considered.
