Frey: 7.5 - Made a great save on Denis in the first half to keep the match
scoreless at the time and made a huge late stop to deny Cigarini and Maggio.
An excellent performance from the Frenchman.
Comotto: 6 – Did really nothing of note except for his late challenge on
Lavezzi which earned him a booking. He was replaced by De Silvestri early in
the second half.
Felipe: 6.5 - Unlucky to receive a yellow card in the 18th minute but wasn』t
troubled by Denis at all. Did well to rally the back four after Lavezzi』s
opener and the wave of pressure that followed.
Kroldrup: 6 - The Dane looked comfortable in the first half but was a
completely different defender after the interval. He let Lavezzi beat him for
the first goal of the game and gave the ball away one time too many in the
first 15 minutes before recovering to guide his side to a big win.
Pasqual: 6 - Wasted a free kick in a dangerous area in the early going but
sent in a delightful pass for Gilardino just before the half-time interval.
An average display and was hooked early in the second half.
Bolatti: 5 - The Argentine midfielder looks out of his depth at times and was
replaced by Montolivo.
Donadel: 7.5 - He was right at home doing the dirty work in midfield and
battled admirably against the likes of Pazienza and Gargano. An inspired
showing from the midfield hardman.
Gobbi: 7 - Started to push forward more in the second half and was one of the
catalysts in the Viola』s come from behind victory
Jovetic: 8.5 - The Montenegrin sensation was the Viola』s most dangerous
player tonight. Set up both of Gilardino』s goals and deservedly scored one
of his own at the death. Will be a superstar sooner than later.
Santana: 7 - Grew in stature as the match wore on and made a nuisance of
himself on the flank. His great corner set up the winning goal.
Gilardino: 8 - The Italy striker had never scored against Napoli before this
evening and it looked as if his streak was going to continue after a bad miss
in the 15th minute but he made up for that miscue with a brace in the second
half. This could be the match that kicks him into gear for the rest of the
season.
Substitutions
Babacar: 7.5 - The youngster played an integral role in Fiorentina』s second
half blitz. He has an extremely bright future ahead of him.
De Silvestri: 6 – His final ball into the area was lacking this evening.
Montolivo: 7 - Great defensive play on Hamsik in the 81st minute and worked
his socks off on both sides of the ball in his 30-minute cameo.
