Rest for A-Rod remains a critical task By Jared Diamond / MLB.com 07/22/09 12:30 AM ET NEW YORK -- Though it may sound counterintuitive, in some ways, Cody Ransom wishes he didn't have to play as much as he has to. Not because he doesn't want to contribute, but because he knows how vital starting third baseman Alex Rodriguez is to the Yankees' lineup.
